There’s nothing worse than community members being….quiet. You’ve got to be active and engaging to make great connections. Join a group, or start one of your own. Make friends. Start a discussion topic. After all, you registered to be a member, so help in building the overall experience. You’ll be happy you did!
We encourage constructive criticism here at MBM Social, but also remember to be respectful. Be the best “real” you possible. “Fake” accounts , multiple accounts, or unreal accounts of your day to day activities will only hinder the overall experience. Real people make for better engagement.
Are you an expert at xyz? Spread your wealth of knowledge! You may be able to help someone in dire need. So visit the groups and forums often, and speak up when you can.
Sharing links about your business are great…if they have a common flow with the conversation at hand. Constant and cumbersome links of your company business, business website, etc, will not only make you look desperate, but will put your account in jeopardy. Members that abuse the community guidelines will be removed by a moderator.
After all, that’s what the community is all about! While having fun, keep in mind the sensitivities of others. Don’t post sexually explicit or violent images and information.
