Whether or not you're a fan of historical romance, take a chance on this novel because I did and it's one of the best literary chances I've taken all year. If you watch ABC's Scandal, take yourself back in time for the scandals of the royal court. See the drama unfold in this mesmerizing world filled with such rich characters and setting and a story you will not want to put down for any distraction. Highly recommended as an audiobook.

This novel is inspired by A Thousand and One Nights, The Wrath and the Dawn and is a must read for anyone looking to get their hands on the must have fantasy retellings of 2015.
