The historical vineyard at Groot Constantia in Cape Town served as the perfect intimate backdrop for the ceremony, while white bundles of flowers elegantly dressed up single long tables for the reception. From the bride…
“Planning process was difficult because we lived on the other side of the country in Johannesburg, and our wedding was taking place in Cape Town where our families lived. It was ‘easier’ than most as we chose to have a small intimate wedding with 50 people and did all of the planning between the two of us. We also chose to go with a ‘white’ wedding theme, as I loved the simplicity that this colour scheme gave us. Everything worked well, as we had a very simple, elegant, affair. One of my closest friends also hired a string quartet as a wedding gift for us and they played Canon in D for my walk down the aisle, which was very special.”
“The most memorable part of the day was standing at the altar with Zane, with our closest friends and families witnessing it as we recited our vows…that moment was the best.”
