“Bold” is certainly a word that comes to mind when pursuing this “modern opulence” themed styled shoot designed by MunaLuchi Coterie member Simone Elise Events. The teal and plum color variations simultaneously compliment each other while providing a strong contrast. The floral selections are a lovely configuration, the stationary is elegant in its simplicity, and the cake is fantastic.

“Simply put, the inspiration behind this styled shoot belongs completely to beautiful bold colors. “Modern Opulence” is what we would describe as the theme, as it was certainly the agenda. The ideas that were birthed for this shoot present a style embracing a very modern manner, and it is so undeniably rich in color, as the colors chosen were eggplant, plum, turquoise, and teal. We found an amazing photo of a slate gray sofa with throw pillows dressed in all of the previously mentioned colors, and knew that would be the basis of our inspiration. Usually when you see these colors together, you see feathers. We knew wanted to stay in the lane of the unexpected and different, so feathers were not allowed. As an even sweeter touch, our models were actually previous clients who were more than thrilled to be a part of the project. The bride had begun a journey of weight loss and was more than anxious to show off her figure. A beautiful bridal gown with a sexy color combination and models who were embracing of a more intimate version of themselves is a recipe for beauty. The floral combinations used were very lush and soft, but not overbearing. During our search for a bit more inspiration, we found an absence of what we were seeking, which only motivated us the more to produce an idea that we can only convey as truly modern and opulent.”
