Recap From Our Alabama Tour Stop Hosted by Brittany B

It was a beautiful blast from the past as we headed to Birmingham, AL for our City to City tour on Aug. 20th. The glamorous event, hosted by Brittany Bell of Brittany B Events and Sam Jasper Photography, was centered around the decadence of the Harlem Renaissance. Ten23 Designs welcomed guests with custom City 2 City tour decals that channeled the essence of the time period. Classic Joy Ride and Vintage Auto brought the transportation of the Harlem Renaissance to the event with beautifully classic cars. The historic Woodrow Hall served as the perfect location for the lavish affair. The venue’s unique architecture, exposed brick walls, and grand ceilings made for a seamless Harlem Renaissance transformation by Nissi Couture Florals-Weddings-Events. Event tables were beautifully adorned with black satin table coverings. Grand candleabras held white hydrangeas and orchids provided by. Cylindrical vases holding white roses sat atop matte gold stands. Sparkling beads were draped amongst the centerpieces adding a dazzling effect to the already gorgeous design. Gold sequin chair covers enveloped some of the gold chiavari chairs that were placed at each table.

Little Magic Cards designed custom stationery giving brides-to-be more inspiration for their possible Harlem Renaissance themed wedding. Pantora Bridal showcased beautiful gowns that fell appropriately in line with the elegance of the era, while Mr. Burch Formal Wear dressed the dapper male models. Let’s Make Up Artistry left the models stunning with beautiful hairstyles. Looks were accessorized with the famous Valentine Cuff by Dianne Valentine and jewelry by The Big Day Bling. Makeup Dash showed brides-to-be some stunning wedding ready looks.

Cakes by Kim designed a show-stopping cake that featured gold foil textures and black 3d florals. Neville Simpson Photography captured guests fun and candid moments with a photo booth. Attendees got a taste of the south with delicious eats provided by Woodrow Hall. Guests rocked to the sounds of DJ B Brian and enjoyed live music from Clinton Babers II, as they got the opportunity to get to know some of our amazing Alabama Coterie members including, ValiaRose Events, One Touch Events, Elle Danielle Photography, The Price Approach Photography, Exquisite Sounds Entertainment, 1 Elegant Event Wedding & Event Planning, J&M Photography, and VM Weddings and Events.

Brittany B couldn’t be more excited about the resurgence of the Birmingham wedding scene, “There is so much culture coming back to Birmingham, the music, the food, the fashion scenes are evolving and Birmingham couples are a reflection of that,” she shares.
