Reflecting Your Personal Style Within Your Bridal Look with MUA Denyelle Duckett

Choosing a bridal makeup look that reflects your personality is key. This week esteemed makeup artist, Denyelle of Makeup Art by Denyelle, is sharing her tips on how to choose the perfect bridal beauty look for your big day! Here is what Denyelle has to say:

When choosing your bridal makeup, you want a look that represents your personal style.  It is important to be comfortable wearing your look because you want your beauty to shine through in your photographs.

You want to be comfortable wearing your makeup, and the last thing you want to worry with is how your makeup has been applied.  If you’re still not quite sure of what look you would like, you should surf the internet for makeup looks of your favorite celebrity’s makeup style. Once you’ve chosen a look, print them out, or email them to your makeup artist.  In doing so you will give your makeup artist an idea of how you’d like to look for your special day.

Here are some tips to go by if you’re not sure how you want your bridal makeup done.

1.If your personal style is usually laid back, minimal, and you don’t wear makeup, then you want to choose a soft, more natural makeup look.

2. If you have a bolder style, or if you usually wear makeup then you should consider adding lashes to your makeup application, to give your eyes a sexy pop.

3.Make sure that whatever you choose is what you can actually see yourself wearing the day of your wedding.

4. Most importantly, HAVE FUN on your wedding day!! You are queen for the day, so own it, and enjoy!

Your bridal makeup consultation is the perfect time to play around with looks to find that perfect wedding day look.  Don’t be afraid to speak up if you don’t like something that the makeup artist has done.  If you’re in search of a makeup artist search the Munaluchi Coterie to find a trusted makeup artist in a city near you.
