Just two weeks ago, I got news from a family member, that no one ever wants to hear; “I have breast cancer.” This news shook my world a bit, especially after coming off of a great breast cancer awareness month, a cleared mammogram of my own and even posting an elegant pink and gold inspiration board. The thought of losing a loved one was front and center, and just puts things in perspective a little more.
Sadly, for some of us, we’ve already lost our loved ones. When it comes time to celebrate life and our wedding day, we never want to forget those loved ones and look for ways to remember the lost loved ones at your wedding. It’s like having a physical piece of them there, even though they can’t be there with you, as you walk down the aisle, dance at your reception, or have dinner at the estate table. You may even consider making a bracelet from your grandfather’s wedding ring or simply decide to have a candlelight display of the loved ones that can’t be there to share your wedding day with you.
