The Pantone Color of the year is a gorgeous Marsala, a darker red brown . It is easy to envision how this color can compliment fall and winter wedding decor, but today’s styled shoot shows how beautifully Marsala can be incorporated into spring and summer decor as well. Here is what event planner, Tiffanie McCoy, of Bird of Paradise Events shared about the inspiration behind this romantic spring inspired shoot:
“This shoot showcased a true hidden gem in Baltimore City, The Inn at the Colonnade, DoubleTree by Hilton, accenting their beautiful Atrium ballroom with an amazing skylight and chandelier, the grand lobby and the outside patio which can be easily transformed into a stunning ceremony space!
The theme was Love, Fun & Romance at the Colonnade! We wanted this shoot to show special moments between the bride and groom, smiles and laughter…all while capturing every moment and detail of the décor and design.
I created this vision with a creative team of professionals for a “Love, Fun & Romance” intimate wedding. We set out to showcase the blend of blush pinks, with neutral colors, accents of gold, stunning linens, stationery and so much more, then showcasing Marsala in the floral. It was a cold winter day in February but the energy felt like a perfect Spring wedding day. A huge thanks to the team of creative professionals for assisting in this collaboration.”
