Brace yourself for some ridiculously gorgeous wedding inspiration. The producer of this shoot, Alea Lovely of Alea Lovely Photography, sought out to create a inspired wedding reminiscent of the couture intricate designs of Alexander McQueen. She made the wedding dress herself. Yup, she made it herself, with her own two hands.
She says,
This shoot was planned around the idea of having an elopement in a european land somewhere. Intimate and private at lake Como or the south of France. I made the dress myself as a nod to Alexander Mcqueen. The gorgeous use of feathers mimic the gown that Kim Kardashian wore in a recent copy of Vogue. I thought how stunning would that be for a wedding dress! But who had the money for haute couture these days, haha, So I took on making the dress myself. My teammate in these shoots , Amy Cason of Victorian Gardens was a huge help in pulling the vision together. We pinned various things as we always do to come up with a fused vision of romance and elegance that made this shoot truly magical for us. While simple , had this been a real wedding we know that it would have been an event to remember.
