Winter weddings are not all that common, but can be so pretty…especially when it comes to decor.  Today’s featured wedding is sweet and simple and cozy all at the same time.  Not a huge fan of flowers, Rochelle opted for wrought iron trees adorned with cranberry filled ornaments.  And when it comes to style, she looked stunning in an Angel Sanchez dress and bright pink Charlotte Olympia pumps.  Special thanks to Melinda of Melinda Le Photography for these photos.  Meet the couple.

From the brde:

“Our wedding was a labour of love with friends and family involved from start to finish. Our colours were pewter with hints of red.  I am not a huge flower person and since we wanted a contemporary feel, we opted for wrought iron trees, cranberries and mood lighting.   We wanted everyone to have fun and as a result, chose both a pianist and a DJ to help set the mood.   The ceremony was held at the hotel as well. We initially wanted to hold it at the museum next door, but they were unable to accommodate our event.  In hindsight, we are delighted we opted to have everything under one roof. The transition between activities was seamless!”

The Greatest Memory…

“The most memorable part of our wedding day was my husband’s vows. He had written them himself and it moved me. He also surprised me by arranging for my friend, a wonderful writer and musician to perform the song for our first dance.”

Love Birds…
