Remember when it was the norm to have an estate table, with all of the couple in the middle of their family and maybe their bridal party, at the wedding reception? I can still remember weddings I’ve attended 10 and 20 years ago and clearly see the happy couple at long tables, having a great time. Fast forward to today, there is the option to have an estate table or a sweetheart table. Sweetheart tables are a great way to put the bride and groom on display, allowing them to have a little bit of quality time together eating dinner, while still having their family, bridal party, and friends close by.
Sweetheart tables are my favorite tables at wedding receptions because they’re the most intimate. Some are very romantic, some keep the bride and groom slightly tucked away, some are dramatic, and some quite elegant. No matter the route you choose, you can never go wrong having a sweetheart table at your reception. For your wedding inspiration, here are 15 sweetheart tables we love. Enjoy!

I’m such a fan of the sweetheart table. There is something so pleasing about sitting apart from your guests and looking around a room filled with all your loved ones while you take in a few quiet moments as husband and wife.
