1. Indulge
If you can’t quite take a road trip to Tijuana for some authentic Mexican food, there are plenty of Mexican restaurants in the San Diego area that will satisfy. Walk into any one of them and enjoy the adventure of finding “your place.” Or perhaps Little Italy may be more what you’re looking for. Both very fine choices.
When it comes to completely immersing the best of what San Diego has to offer…breweries always come into the conversation. Food Booze and Baggage actually has a bucket list of San Diego breweries which made provide the perfect starting point for you and yours.
If San Diego had a sweet tooth mecca, Nomad Donuts would be it. With a menu that changes every single day, you’ll wake up each morning thinking about coming here after your first visit. So pace yourself and be sure to get some donuts for your journey home. Hammond’s Gourmet Ice Cream provides over 100 flavors inspired by what flavors we all know and love as well as its Hawaiian roots. A must visit for the honeymoon.
