Luxury was the name of the game when Candace and Jeffrey said “I do.” Planned by Kristina Kellogg of Ultimate Events Unlimited, the raspberry and gold wedding was glamorous to say the least. The couple met at Hobby Elementary School in Houston but didn’t begin dating until 2011. And it didn’t take Jeffrey long to realize that Candace was the one. Right after their first date he called Candace and told her that she would be his girlfriend. Four years later they stood in front of their friends and family to become husband and wife. Purple lighting illuminated the space, complimenting the gold chiavari chairs, candelabras, and chargers. The couple championed the metallic cake trend with a white and gold four-tier cake. It was the perfect marriage of luxe and love. Take a look at their big day with photography by Coterie member Daniel T Davis Photography.

He proposed to me with a beautiful engagement ring on August 26th, 2014 in the Sugar Land town center in front of the water fall with our entire family present they came from behind the shopping mall as he kneeled down to ask for my hand in marriage.Describe your wedding dress. What was wedding shopping like for you?My wedding dress was big and puffy it was an Oleg Cassini Ball Gown. I wanted a formal and traditional wedding. I wanted to feel like a princess. Wedding shopping was fun and exciting. Our wedding colors were raspberry, gold, and champagne. I wanted something classic and elegant. The guys wore black Calvin Klein Tuxes with Bow Ties that were complimented by there raspberry dendrobium orchid boutonniere. What is your best memory of your wedding day?
My best memory from my wedding was when my husband coordinated a dance to an old time favorite of mine “Candy Rain” and gave me a special dance/performance. It was so special and funny. I will always cherish that memory because it was truly a surprise. What advice do you have for our brides to be?
My best wedding advice would be to hire a professional wedding planner. They have friends in the industry who offer them specials deals and discounts. They know everything it is to make a wedding complete from must have items, to the order of ceremony, and the best place to find shoes. My wedding coordinator was a Godsend.
