Atlanta transplants, Eboni and Ty were excited to marker some of their favorites spots in the city where it all began for them ahead of their summer cruise wedding. Eboni, a Scientist, and Ty, an IT Specialist who also serves in the military, headed to a rooftop in downtown Atlanta, Atlantic Station, and the new Civil Rights Museum, spreading their love all over the city as they count down to July Second.
Tell us about how you met and all about the proposal!
I was at work and he yelled “Hey!” After I got over the initial shock (did this dude really just yell at me in the office?), he asked me some questions about my uniform. Before I knew it, we were chatting via instant messenger and then on the phone. He invited me to a his friend’s art show, and we’ve been together since. We laugh a lot, we challenge, support, respect, and love each other very much and we are excited about our future together and pray that God will bless us with many years to come!
The engagement session…
Neither of us is from here but since Atlanta is where it all began, we definitely wanted to capture the essence of the city.
What did you do on your first date?
One of Ty’s friends was having an art show in the space below Cloud IX. We looked at art and had some really nice conversation. After the show, we went to the bar and had drinks with a couple of Ty’s friends. It was a really chill night with lots of laughter.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple?
We love binge watching our favorite television shows while eating Milano’s pizza!
How has wedding planning been so far?
Wedding planning is coming along. Things became much easier once we selected our date and decided on a cruise!
Tell us what you’re looking forward to most on the wedding day.
We are looking forward to officially becoming one and sharing that moment with our family and friends.
