For Stacy and Tony the attraction was certainly immediate, full of shared looks and playful flirtations, though it was some time before this office romance came to fruition. Years later, after falling out of touch and then reconnecting, they finally went for those “drinks.” Following their first date it didn’t take long for Tony to know that Stacy would one day be his wife.
In December of 2015, still recovering from a knee surgery, Stacy and Tony decided to ring in the new year together in the intimate comfort of Tony’s house. After a champagne toast and expressions of new year resolutions, while softly dancing in a loving embrace – Tony asked Stacy to be his wife.
This stunning engagement session takes place in beautiful sunny Jamaica, where the wedding will also take place May 27th of 2017.

Tell us how you met and all about the proposal: Tony and I met almost 4 years ago when he saw me in my office. While he was immediately attracted to me, and I thought he was handsome and stylish, neither one of us made it known to the other. Tony would flirt and comment that we should go out for drinks sometime, but, I would only respond “ok.” It wasn’t until we reconnected a few years later that we would meet up for drinks at The Avenue Blue in Hampton, Virginia…and we’ve been inseparable ever since!
Shortly after we began dating, Tony says that he knew I would one day become his wife and he started planning an over the top proposal. In December 2015, I had a torn meniscus that would require surgery. Although the procedure was successful, it took much longer than anticipated for me to recover and Tony was there for me every step of the way. Instead of going out on New Year’s Eve, we decided to spend it at Tony’s house since it was still extremely hard for me to walk or stand for any length of time. As the New Year rang in, we celebrated with a champagne toast and sharing each other’s New Year’s resolutions. As we danced to Promise to Love, by KEM, midway through the song and to my surprise, Tony asked me to marry him and of course I said YES!
What did you do on your first date? Tony and I went out to dinner to Schlesingers Steakhouse.
Describe your engagement session: Since we are planning a destination wedding at the Moon Palace Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios, Jamaica next year, we decided to do a site visit so that we could view the property and meet with local vendors. Jamaica is simply beautiful and we wanted our engagement session to capture the blue sky, vibrant sun, and tranquil waters. Our coordinator, Ophillia arranged for everything! From the venue, make-up artist, videographer, photographer, and transportation, she made sure that everything was picture perfect!
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple? We love to travel, go out to dinner, movies, music concerts and attend professional sports games. I’m a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan (#gridiron girl)!!
How has wedding planning been so far? So far wedding planning has been amazing and I attribute this to having one of the best coordinators! I’ve waited my entire life for this moment and I’m enjoying each and every second, minute and hour!
Tell us what you’re looking forward to most on the wedding day: The thing that I am looking forward to the most on our wedding day is simply being surrounded by all of our closest family and friends and hearing someone call me, “Mrs. Bailey!”
