Janelle Monae Is the New Face of CoverGirl

Janelle Monae is recognized for her natural pompadour, classic style, great talent and individuality in a cookie-cutter world. CoverGirl recognized her for all those things, too: the 26 year old Monae has recently been unveiled as the new face of CoverGirl. She joins singer-songwriter Pink in what seems to be CoverGirl’s new trend of bringing on brand ambassadors who dance to the beat of their own drum.

Janelle Monae is an excellent choice for CoverGirl because, apart from having a gorgeous face, silky smooth skin and lovely eyes, she represents women who are happy to be “easy, breezy and beautiful” in the way that they feel most uniquely comfortable. Monae states her reason for joining CoverGirl:
