Tell us how you met and all about the proposal. Anthony & Meghan met at a friends summer event and have been together ever since!
For the proposal, Meghan and Anthony were celebrating their first Christmas together. Anthony had already proven that he liked to spoil Meghan, but this Christmas appeared as though it may be particularly fruitful. He presented her with several boxes, some athletic shoes, head phones, other small items, and finally (or so she thought) a Rolex box… with nothing in it. Anthony finally presented Meghan with a ring box with the gorgeous engagement ring and asked her to be his wife. She of course responded Yes!
Describe your engagement session. Meghan and Anthony wanted to reflect the theme of their wedding throughout the multiple events associated with their big day. Because the theme of the wedding is an enchanted forest, we decided to venture to a historic landmark in Hempstead, NY. The location was breathtaking, featuring regal architecture and stately grounds. One of the features that they really loved was the preservation with it’s beautiful trees covered in foliage, which fell perfectly inline with the aesthetic of the event.
What did you do on your first date? For the couple’s first date they went to one of Meghan’s favorite DC restaurants, Maestros.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple? EAT and Travel!
How has wedding planning been so far? Wedding planning has been a whirlwind. It seems like we were just engaged yesterday! Overall it has been pleasant. Natalie Melton with Event Design Group has been a God Send and a pleasure to work with. She’s made this experience run smoothly.
Tell us what you’re looking forward to most on the wedding day. What we’re looking forward to most on the wedding day is the party! We cannot wait to celebrate our union with family and friends. We’re SO EXCITED!
