Day 3 of Paris Fashion Week continued on with showstopping looks from Roland Mouret and Christian Dior.
Roland Mouret
Roland Mouret’s Spring 2013 womenswear line was influenced by the legendary 1980s Paris nightclub Le Palace (Paris’ answer to New York iconic Studio 54) and what he thinks fashionable women could be seen wearing there. Mouret’s throwback ’80s influences are heavily imprinted from the bold shoulder pad suits to the thigh-high slits.
Roland Mouret on his Spring 2013 womenswear line: “I went back to revisit my eighties,” said Mouret of the collection. “I was young, I had fun, we lived in a group. The reality was dark but the night was for clubbing and full of light. It was a time I felt had a resonance for now.” (Style.com)

Christian Dior
Raf Simmons delivers another brilliant collection for fashion-forward women. In fact Raf created stunning everyday looks from the staple tuxedo to a fun night out dress. The finale’s nod to 1950s fashion was a great way to cap off Raf’s stylish presentation – his first ready to wear collection for Dior.
