Vintage Styled Shoot by Johnique Woods of The Posh Knot -Munaluchi Bride

Hello and Happy Monday to you! We’re starting off this week with a cute styled shoot by one of our own Coterie members, Johnique Woods of The Post Knot. She has a love for all things vintage and wanted to show you all her take on vintage and a little “something blue.” We love how everything came together! Take a look.

“This styled shoot was inspired by freshness the color blue and the amazing trend of vintage. There were so many vintage elements I gushed in awe and went to work to develop a shoot with plenty of inspiration to mirror. It all came together once I found a budding new events venue the Luce Loft in Downtown San Diego which screams vintage with an open palette. With layers of details that included unique furniture and vintage rentals from Lauren Sharon Vintage Shop, exquisite linens from A Perfect Table, a gorgeous mélange of dinnerware by Pow Wow Vintage Rentals, absolutely beautiful stationary by NicRoc Designs, stunning couture bridal gowns from D’Marie Couture Bridal, the ever sweet birdcage veils that exudes elegance in their simplicity were provided by D’Angelo Couture, not to mention the sweets tables provided by Wicked Spoon were not only beautiful in presentation but extremely delicious (yes I tried them hehe). The entire shoot came together to exude this feeling of natural beauty, serenity and love sent through the color blue. By using lemon yellow, various shades of blue, silver, gold and pops of berry red, I wanted to take a very vintage with modern elements approach to this shoot. Many of the vintage touches were provided by my 90 year old grandfather such as the vintage ties, which he has had for over 50 years that makes this shoot so special. ”
