Business Name: Suada Studio
Founded: February 2017
Describe your business. At Suada Studio, we help create customized, authentic and stress-free events for special celebrations. We offer an all inclusive and adaptable event venue that transforms to your unique taste and desires. We combine the intimate and hands-on art of event planning with the ownership of our event location in the heart of Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia.
What did you do before starting your business in the wedding industry? Prior to Suada Studio, I practiced as an Architect and Residential Designer which positioned me well for creative flexibility in designing weddings and other dream events. As a practicing Architect, I was accustomed to working directly with clients to interpret and thus create their intimate spaces that make positive impacts on their living environment. Similarly, with weddings, I get to work directly with couples to create the wedding of their dreams, and execute their ideas beyond their imaginations. Wedding planning gives me the rare privilege of making a direct and positive impact on one of the most important days of the couple’s life. My background in Design and Project Management also assisted in a seamless transition because of the similarities in skills required for success in both industries.
How long have you been in the wedding industry? For more than half a decade, I have functioned unofficially in the event industry. Event planning has always been a passion that offers the thrill and fulfillment of gathering people together and giving them a unique experience every time. Two years ago, I decided with my husband to take on Event and Wedding Planning as a full time profession by taking the leap and opening an event venue: Suada Studio.
How would you describe your style? At Suada Studio, we are intentionally creative and attentive to details. Our personalized style helps couples find an authentic expression of their dreams. Our tailored designing of their event provides couples the opportunity to reflect their personal coloration on the event experience. We encourage the brides to share a bit of themselves with their guests by introducing elements that are unique to them or that tell a story about their celebration.
What motivates you? My number one motivation is the privilege to serve intentionally. It’s an honor for me to assist people during memorable occasions of their lives and leave a lasting positive impression.
Why should brides/grooms choose you? Suada Studio has a track record of bringing dreams to reality for Brides and Grooms. Our team is dedicated to SERVE the needs of brides and grooms. We deliver results and not reports. At Suada Studio, we relieve the couple of the stress associated with planning, design and execution of their wedding whilst they sit back, trust and enjoy the journey.
How does your company define and measure success? Success to us means the couple enjoyed their event planning process and more importantly their satisfaction with the wedding day. When clients speak highly of us and recommend us before we finish working with them, we know we are doing things right. Ultimately, our success is having happy, stress-free and satisfied clients. When that feeling extends to the family and guests, a sense of fulfillment fills our hearts.
What do you enjoy most about your work? Being positioned to make use of my talents and be of value to others is the most enjoyable part of my work. It is a blessing that I can share in people’s joy alongside having the opportunity to use my creative and organization skills.
Describe a proud moment while working in the wedding industry. A proud moment happens every time I see the glimmer in a satisfied clients eye. However, when a client goes beyond the satisfaction of their day to become an advocate of Suada Studio seals our feeling of pride. An instance happened when I met someone for the first time. Upon introducing myself, she mentioned she had heard great things about me from a friend of hers who was overwhelmed with the process of planning her wedding. She mentioned things my previous bride had never told me, but obviously shared with her friend of how much help I had been to her during that time. I think it is one thing to help others, but it’s a different feeling I get
when they voluntarily share that experience with others.
What’s the best compliment you’ve received for your work? Generally, the joy our couples show on their wedding day serves as the best compliments we crave at Suada Studio. One of the best compliments we received recently was from a Bride we had in December who left one of our favorite reviews “We had no idea just how attentive she was to our needs, until we walked into the venue on our wedding day. My husband is not easily impressed, and he was speechless! Absolutely Beautiful! From the decor to the staff, it was perfect!’ After reading the email, I have to admit I got teary eyes and so did the rest of our team.
What are your business goals? Suada Studio’s primary Business goal is to create authentic, unique and memorable experiences for each couple and their guests.
What’s your favorite part of the wedding industry? No two weddings are ever the same. Each wedding offers me the opportunity to live a life poured out, by leaving a piece of myself with each couple I work with an indelible mark on one of the most memorable days of their lives. I am always grateful to be part of an important day in their lives.
What’s your least favorite part of the wedding industry? Everyone deserves the Wedding of their dreams. My least favorite part of weddings is having the conversation about budget and prioritizing. I never like seeing my brides feel like they cannot have everything they want due to budget limitations.
Describe your vision of the “perfect” wedding. The word “perfect” is hard to define in wedding terms and honestly, I think it is a relative phenomenon. My definition of a ‘Perfect Wedding’ therefore would be a Seamless Event with a
Satisfied Client.
Where do you find the most inspiration? I draw inspiration from my clients. Their love stories and personal character play a major role in developing a wedding experience that is unique to them.
Is there anything else you’d like our readers to know? At Suada Studio, we infuse fun and laughter into our client encounters. We have also been told by clients that it adds value to the service we offer. Wedding planning can be a stressful time for people generally. At Suada Studio, we invite you to allow us to take that stress away from you as we help you create your authentic event leaving a lasting and memorable imprint of your special occasion.
