How did you meet? We met on Facebook while I was planning a surprise baby shower for a mutual friend. We ended up being the godparents for the child and went on our first date and have been together since then.
Tell us your proposal story. He surprised me and came in town for New Years and my parents were still in town for Christmas. After I got off of work we went to the outlet mall and dinner. After dinner he took me down to the water fountain and proposed. It was the perfect ending to our evening.
Describe your engagement session. We didn’t have a theme for our engagement shoot just downtown Memphis since that’s where it all started.
What did you do on your first date? Our first date was at A-Tan where we did lunch at hibachi, I remember being so nervous but it was really sweet, and we have been inseparable since.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple? Our favorite thing to do is go to the movies and travel. We have a thing for Marvel movies.
How has wedding planning been so far? Wedding planning has been pretty stress free since we gave ourselves a year and an half to actually get married. Have had a lot of down time to actually enjoy being engaged and pace ourselves.
Tell us what you’re looking forward to most on the wedding day. I’m looking forward to actually living with my husband and being in the same city. We have done long distance for over seven years.
