Initially being introduced at work, it was obvious to the both of them that a palpable magnetism was between them – stealing glances and sharing smiles from across the room. After a “flirty” few months the temptation of each other took hold, with friendship blossoming into love. Over the next three years their hearts continued joining as one, making it evident that their love was everlasting – and inspiring Jerome to make it forever with their perfect proposal…

How did you meet? Our love initially sparked through a brief introduction at work fast forward a few months and after a few flirty exchanges over Instagram our love story began. Three years and a few passport stamps later here we are preparing to exchange our vows.
Tell us about the proposal. Symone: “Our special day took place right in front of the lake at the bottom of Stone Mountain. He intimately shared how God confirmed our love for one another! I’ll never forget how he shared that he knew I was the ‘one’ when he saw me fix a plate and noticed that we both hate when our food to touches. So of course I said yes to being his picky-eater partner in life, and unbeknownst to me he had gathered all of our friends and family to celebrate our engagement inside the country club where he had proposed.”
Jerome: “I had been planning it for about 2 months looking for the perfect time. My family was coming in town from Chicago and California, and her family wanted to come support her so everyone was here in one place. Everyone being there helped keep me calm and get through the process. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain and I quickly grew disappointed thinking things weren’t going to go as planned. Thankfully right before she arrived it finally cleared up for about 10 mins which gave me enough time to start the proposal. As Symone pulled up a bright smile came to my face knowing the time had come. I approached her, embraced her in my arms, and started sharing my feelings, next thing we know the ring is on her finger and we are a newly engaged couple!”
What was the theme of your engagement shoot? Old Hollywood! One of the things that brings us together is watching dated movies or series that are set in the time of old glam and luxury.
For every big smile in our pictures you can bet that there were some flirty whispers in the other’s ear to blame. We weren’t focusing on posing, we just had fun so the shoot in itself was a memorable moment we won’t forget!
