Angela and Marcus were initially introduced by a mutual friend. Picking up on the positive vibes passing between them they decided to pursue a first date. During a lovely bistro breakfast, Marcus and Angela’s connection continued to deepen, and his feelings of appreciation also extended to Angela’s wonderful daughters. After breakfast they went for a boardwalk stroll while enjoying Italian Ice. For Marcus, he knew it was “love at first sight.”

How did you meet and all about the proposal. Angela and I met through a mutual friend. For the proposal, I knew I wanted to surprise Angela and catch her off guard. I went to her job right before she was about to clock out. Once she finished clocking out and turned around to leave, I was right there, down on one knee.
Describe your engagement session. I would have to say that the theme of our session was Love, and having that shine through in our photos. Our Photographer Judith really guided us to some beautiful places in downtown Norfolk. She made us comfortable so our personalities were able to show through in all the photos.
What did you do on your first date? For our first date, I took Angela and her daughters to breakfast at a bistro. After that, we walked the boardwalk and ate Italian Ice. I knew it was love at first sight for me.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple? We love reading books in the lazy boy recliner at home.
How has wedding planning been so far? Very stressful for Angela. Me not so much!
Tell us what you’re looking forward to most on the wedding day. Watching my beautiful wife walking down the aisle.

Beautiful pictures of all the couples. I really love the one with love at first sight. Well of course I would that’s my beautiful daughter Angela and son-in-law Marcus.
