Tell us how you met and all about the proposal. We met on the playground during recess at B. Bernice Young Elementary School through a mutual friend! I thought we were stopping at our old elementary to do a quick alumni tour because we were selected as the featured alumni but before I knew it, we were outside with family and friends and he was on one knee asking for my hand in marriage.

Describe your engagement session. Our engagement session was based on the elementary school setting on the playground. We even had a passed note that stated “‘Will you marry me?’ Check yes or no.”

What did you do on your first date? We went to a hookah lounge in Cherry Hill, NJ.

What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple? We love comedy shows and traveling!

How has wedding planning been so far? A lot of emotions, fun, exciting, can’t wait for it to get here, everything! But the most shocking part was how fast the planning process went. It seems as though everyone wants to get married in 2020, so venues and vendors were already booked for our date within a month of us getting engaged.
