To Serenade is to entertain one’s love by display of talent in hope of winning their deepest affections. In our journey to inspire love, MunaLuchi has created Muna Serenade: A Curated Couples’ Date, to present the opportunity for engaged couples to experience the serenading together in an unforgettable date night experience. Produced by members of the Coterie – MunaLuchi’s curated collective of elite wedding vendors, selected couples are provided with a photoshoot, videoshoot, fine dining, and more.

We incorporated elements of Brooklyn into the decor and experience with photos of famous Brooklynites and landmarks that were framed and placed around the parlor room. Photos of Biggie Smalls, Spike Lee, Jay Z, Shirley Chisholm, the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn Arc were created. We added gold metallic votive candles, burgundy red florals and framed menus of the drinks and hors d’oeuvres as nice compliments. The Signature Cocktails were named after Brooklyn Movies: Bride’s Drink – “She’s Gotta Have It,” Groom’s Drink – “Do the Right Thing” and Dinner Drink – “Saturday Night Fever.” Brooklyn street signs were placed around the Ballroom on mini stands. Streets like: Nostrand Ave, Fulton St, Eastern Parkway, Stuyvesant Ave and Flatbush Ave. As it turned out, one of the Brides-to-Be grew up on Eastern Parkway and really appreciated the signage. The mirror in the Parlor Room had a gold vinyl design that read “MunaLuchi Bride” and the mirrors in the Ballroom read “Muna Serenade Ode to Brooklyn.” The custom Glam Bottle Keepsakes had a Bridge design to represent the Brooklyn Bridge, with each couple’s name engraved in it for them to take home. The acrylic menus on each plate had a hand sketched drawing of the Brooklyn Bridge as a base and the New York skyline in shiny gold stood on top to create a 2-D look. The songs in our full length video are from Brooklyn/NYC artists. The Ballroom experienced an “Extreme Makeover” when we bought in the custom designed white flower wall with a large red heart in the center. The white drapes were add to fill the bay window area that housed the beautiful black cake. We bought in floor and tabletop candelabras, along with a variety of of candle shapes and sizes to romantically light the room. The up-lights added the extra glow we needed. The hors d’oeuvres, four course meal and drinks satisfied our couples nicely and the music got our couples dancing without hesitation. The couples also enjoyed the instrumental versions of familiar love songs and the couples also made requests. What an amazing, amazing time the couples and the Team had that night. I was sad to blow out the candles when the evening was done. Excellent Teamwork! #strongertogether
