When Stephanie and Roland initially met at a local African restaurant, Roland was immediately attracted to her – intrigued to learn everything about Stephanie.

With their feelings for each other falling deeper into love, Stephanie and Roland knew they had found that one person that completed them so entirely.

Tell us how you met. We met at an African restaurant called Amazing Grace and right away I wanted to know more about Stephanie. She was shy and laidback and something about her just attracted her to me.
How did you know they were “the one”? Stephanie: “I knew Roland was the one because he was so patient and understanding. The absolute perfect gentleman who put me above anything and anyone. He’s the one who completes me and makes me feel like the best woman on earth.”
Roland: “I knew Stephanie was the one because of how passionate she is about the things she loves, her caring nature and her selfless attitude.”
What was wedding shopping like for you? Stephanie: “Shopping for my actual wedding dress was the easiest part. My other outfits, especially my reception dress was the toughest part of it all. Overall my event planner was able to help me sort through my outfits and styling.”
Roland: “Shopping for my suit was quite easy. I had my military outfit as my first look and got the second and third suit made in Africa.”
Did you incorporate any culture into your wedding? We had a traditional ceremony the day before the wedding which was filled with so much love from family and friends. Our colorful Igbo and Edo attires we’re heavily beaded and full of glamour and beauty.
What is your best memory from your wedding? Definitely our first dance!
