Opulence & Elegance: Destination Wedding in Florence, Italy

It was probably the last place Brooke expected to meet who would end up being the love of her life, but love, as they say, works in mysterious ways.

Coming across his profile entirely by chance while business networking on Linkedin, Brooke sent Damien a connection request. After briefly messaging back and forth, Damien, beginning to believe their connection had the potential for something more, asked Brooke out on a date a few days later.

With his instincts proving to be true, a little over a month after their initial meeting, Damien knew Brooke was the love of his life, and that she would one day be his wife. That day came when, under the guise of church choir performance, Damien brought their families together. During the evening of the “church performance”, Damien asked everyone to gather around for a toast of champagne. After dedicating a toast to their collected family, Damien got down on one knee and asked Brooke to spend the rest of their lives together as husband and wife.

Brooke and Damien jumped-the-broom during a gorgeous destination wedding in an Italian villa in Florence. Brooke was stunning in a Lori Allen dress with a sheer bodice covered in sparkling jewels, complete with a cathedral length veil. Under the Tuscan skies, surrounded by loved ones, Brooke and Damien were forever joined as husband and wife.

Best Memories: My mother surprised my husband and our guests with a firework show after we cut the cake. Only my wedding planners, my mother and I knew about the fireworks, it was really hard to keep the secret but seeing his surprise was worth it!

Advice for Engaged Couples: This is your special day, and it was important that your wedding be authentic to who you are as a couple. Travel is something that we are both passionate about, so a destination wedding was a natural fit. We traveled to Italy in 2017 and had the trip of a lifetime so returning for our wedding was a dream come true, our guests loved our location choice as well.
