Anna and Grayson’s love story began on the campus of Howard University where their paths first crossed as students.
Lovers of travel, their pre-planned trip to Italy, Spain, and France provided the perfect opportunity for this gorgeous gondola engagement session in the Grand Canal of Venice. Anna and Grayson are looking forward to meeting each other at the altar in Glendale, California this September 20th where they will forever be joined as husband and wife.

Tell us how you met and all about the proposal. Grayson and I met while attending college at Howard University. For the proposal, one afternoon, Grayson said let’s go to that new French restaurant you’ve been wanting to try, so I immediately made a dinner reservation for us. I had been looking forward to this date night all week. When we arrived at the restaurant we were immediately seated and handed menus but no one came to our table. I mentioned to Grayson that it was weird that no one had brought us water yet. Shortly after, someone came up to the table with a bottle of champagne and poured us two glasses. I thanked them but when they left I told Grayson it was so weird that we haven’t been offered water. I was very confused by the unusual service we were receiving. As I sat there trying to figure out why this was happening, Grayson asked me to put down my menu. He said that I have always been the planner but today he had a surprise for me. He got down on one knee and had a friend hide at the bar and film the entire proposal!
