When a family friend introduced Charlye and Stanley they were sure the pair would make a perfect couple, and it wouldn’t be long before that prediction became a reality.
During a classic first date at an Italian restaurant Charlye and Stanley instantly connected, conversing long into the evening until the restaurant lights were turned off. The more time they continued to spend together the more it became apparent that they were indeed a perfect fit for each other.

Realizing that they had discovered the love of their life made taking the next step towards together forever feels almost predestined. So when Charlye’s thirtieth birthday approached, Stanley found the perfect opportunity for an unforgettable proposal in the form of a trip to Miami. With a group of friends, they celebrated Charlye’s birth in the sunshine state. As a special gift, Stanley arranged a lovely dinner at the Versace Mansion where, in front of their close friends, he got down on one knee and asked Charlye to spend the rest of their lives together as husband and wife.
Stanley and Charlye were married on March 16th in a beautiful cathedral ceremony in Houston, Texas. Charlye was stunning in a custom Ese Azenabor gown with a ten-foot train. Their wedding paid homage to Stanley’s Nigerian ancestry with traditional Igbo culture incorporated throughout. With the love and support of family and friends, they celebrated their union in a luxurious uptown reception, dancing long into the night.
