Brittany and Quentin’s love story began during high school when they were introduced by mutual friends at Brittany’s sweet-sixteen birthday party.
From that moment on their lives have been intertwined and their love for each other continuing to grow. It was at a house warming party when Quentin found the perfect opportunity to make that love forever by getting down on one knee and asking Brittany to spend the rest of their lives together. Brittany and Quentin will be pronounced husband and wife on August 7th of 2020 at a beautiful beach club ceremony in Maryland. Read about their love story and wedding plans in their Washington DC engagement session – featuring photography by MunaLuchi Coterie member LaJoy Photography.

How did you meet? From mutual friends in high school. I was having a huge sweet-sixteen birthday party in which some of my guy friends that Quentin knew were attending. Quentin messaged me on Facebook asking if he could come along with them and the rest is history.
Tell us your proposal story. Quentin proposed at our housewarming in front of all our family and friends. While we were opening housewarming gifts there was one gift, a box of cupcakes from our absolute favorite cupcake place, and the cupcakes read “marry me.” While I was reading them, there Quentin was on one knee with a custom made Blue Nile ring in hand and all of our family and friends screaming in the background.
Describe your engagement session. Our engagement session was a blast! LaJoy (our photographer) was so great to work with and we had so much fun doing the shoot. We didn’t really have a theme, we just wanted to make sure whatever we did and wore felt like us and reflected who we are as a couple.
What did you do on your first date? We went to the movies to see Final Destination 5.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple? Eat! We love trying new restaurants and cuisines.
How has wedding planning been so far? It has been fun planning the wedding together. We both have very demanding jobs so wedding planning is an escape for us.
Tell us what you’re looking forward to most on the wedding day. The ceremony!
