“The Astin Mansion is an Antebellum-Georgian Revival-style mansion built in 1920 located in Bryan, Texas. The Astin Mansion is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and stands alone against the backdrop of a barn and rustic venues in central Texas. Whether you envision an intimate or spectacular wedding, look no further than the Astin Mansion. For this Evening of Elegance shoot, we were striving to revive the romantic fairytale wedding aesthetic. From the very beginning of planning, we knew we wanted to create a glamorous design that stepped outside the box by pairing extravagant details with the elegance of our 99-year old historic venue. We melded modern glamour with grand 1920’s style by tying in dazzling pops of fuchsia into a classic black and gold color palette. The entire design came together once we found our bride and groom, Dominique and Grace Messer. The Messers were high school sweethearts who have been happily married for three years. When we found out they never had professional wedding photos taken, we knew we had to make this experience unforgettable cue fireworks no, really, we brought confetti cannons, smoke bombs, and actual fireworks to this shoot! Each vendor truly went above and beyond which translated into a stunning evening that exuded passion, personality, and flair.”
