What started as a glance, turned into a storybook romance for Galen and Morgan.
“Seeing Morgan from across the room at the first college party of the year at the University of TN at Chattanooga, Galen hesitated to approach her. But the perfect opportunity presented itself again at the campus library, when their two souls finally met. Their simplistic college friendship blossomed into a romantic “hippie” love. Galen and Morgan’s feelings were extremely in sync, both “Could Be Themselves With Each Other, 1000% themselves.” We love it!
After six years of dating, Galen proposed to Morgan during the gender reveal party for their first baby. With their beautiful baby boy in tow, they executed a beautiful wedding full of personalized touches. Their planner, MunaLuchi Coterie member Weddings Unlimited by Danielle shares, “Galen and Morgan’s bohemian, naturalistic wedding displayed every aspect of their personalities together, very organic, natural love, quirky, simple, and beautiful in a unique way. The couple requested a very soft pastel lilac color theme with lots of natural eucalyptus florals along with gold and ivory details. The design included bohemian curtains, woven rugs, and custom-designed vintage doors for their ceremony altar.”

The Proposal
After Galen graduated from college, experiencing hardship between jobs, it was Morgan who believed in him and supported him. It was confirmation for Galen that Morgan was the one, and he was ready to propose.
After 6 years of dating, the timing seemed perfect to take the next step, but surprisingly a little blessing was on the way, their son Elijah. During their gender reveal with family and friends, Galen, emotionally with tears, describes the first day they met and how much he loved her for supporting him. He got down on one knee and made a “pretty perfect” proposal.
Wedding Attire
The bride’s shopping experience was fun and stress-free. She knew exactly what she wanted. Shopping at a local bridal shop, Lena Peony in Dickson, TN, she found a vintage, ivory, all lace dress with a low, sheer front and back design and a deep sweetheart neckline. She describes her dress as fresh and relaxed.
The groom’s attire was an unconventional upscale brunch style, purchased at D&K Menswear. The groom and the groomsmen wore soft gray suits, pastel lilac bow ties, and ankle-high pants, especially with the entire groomsmen party being over 6’3 tall.
