Mixed Metals Styled Shoot in Philadelphia

An elegant way to add a little shine or a pop of shimmer into your wedding is to play with metallics. Gold and silver are classic metallic accents, but you can also mix copper, rose gold, pewter, and gunmetal into your wedding decor. These metallics always play well with cream and neutral colors, but they also serve as stylish shiny accents to bright colors, especially jewel tones. You can even mix metals. Yes, gold and silver can be mixed together!

Initially this look was inspired by my makeup artist turned client, Erica Nikole. The Event Parlor did a mixed metals look for her birthday dinner in 2019. I wanted to push the limits of mixed metals and textures and combine it with what I feel, based on experience with brides, the look of dream wedding would be. So “a wedding dream” was born!
