Normally, Allison and Marcus celebrate their anniversary by traveling. However, this year their plans were stifled by Coronavirus and travel restrictions.
So, they decided to commemorate their third wedding anniversary with a glamorous anniversary session and headed to one of their favorite restaurants afterward for dinner. It was the perfect way to document their growing love for each other.

What was your wedding like?
Our wedding was exactly what we wanted. It was elegant yet simple and all of our closest family and friends were there to celebrate our love. It was beautiful.

As you celebrate your anniversary, what do you remember most about your wedding day?
Allison- We remember being excited about all the future would hold for us and embarking on this journey as one.
Was there anything you would have done differently for your wedding?
Honestly no, our wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be.

What are your favorite things to do as a couple?
We enjoy trying new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with our daughter.
Who cooks?
Allison- I cook most of the time.

Do you have any children or pets?
If so, tell us how many and what type of pets. We have one daughter who is 2 and we have one miniature shanuzer dog.
When it comes to Career, what do both of you do and how do you make time for each other?
Allison- I work as a nurse and am back in school for an advanced nursing degree. Marcus- I am a serial entrepreneur.
We are very intentional about the time we spend together. If you are not careful jobs, life, errands, and other people can become the focus, but we want to maintain a strong foundation. So, even if it is taking a walk around the neighborhood or watching a movie, our time together is a priority.

What would you say are the most important elements for a successful marriage?
Having fun together, rtust, and never giving up on one another.
How do you keep the spark in your marriage?
Traveling, dressing up going on date nights, spending time away from children, and being intentional about remembering what makes each other feel special and loved.

Tell us about the shoot. What inspired it?
We wanted to celebrate our third anniversary and document our maturing love. Corona messed up our plans but we still wanted to do something special so we contacted Christian booked an anniversary session and went to one of our favorite restaurants afterward. It was perfect.
What do you love most about one another?
I love Marcuses determination and dedication to our family.
I love the way Allison holds the family down and her determination to finish school while being an awesome mother.

What advice can you give for newlyweds?
There will be tough times in any relationship but communicate and be honest with one another. Continue to date one another and remember to love on your spouse and keep the spontaneity alive in your marriage.
