Sharee and Ted shined in their elegant engagement session at the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami, Florida. The beautiful scenery and various locations around the property created the perfect backdrops for their royal and elegant engagement session theme, inspired by Megan Markel.
They met at a scholarship fundraiser party in Cincinnati. They were both smitten as soon as they laid eyes on one another.
“We went and had a great time and then the finest man I’ve ever laid eyes on walked into the room…”
Sharee
“Once I saw her beautiful smile, the only thought that went through my head was that I needed to get to know her…”
Ted
Despite having to change venues close to the wedding date and the stresses of planning a wedding during the pandemic, they couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with family and friends and dance the night away.

How did you meet?
Sharee: Saturday morning February 25, 2017: One of my BFFs, Danielle, told me her dad had an extra seat at his table for the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, inc. scholarship fundraiser party. I had plans with my sisters, but later that day they were postponed, so I texted her back “Sure I’ll come”. We went and had a great time and then the finest man I’ve ever laid eyes on walked into the room. I just said to myself “I’ll meet him before the end of the night”. And I did, at the end of the event we spoke and it was like nobody else was in the room. We dated a few weeks during his tax season and while he was getting his MBA. The commitment he had to date me while having a very busy schedule let me know he was someone special who adored me. Two weeks after meeting he asked me to be his girlfriend. I’ve been treated like a royal princess since. He truly is the love of my life.
Ted: I was in the midst of a 70+ hour work week when my frat bro, Chaz, wanted me to accompany him on his trip down to Cincinnati for the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Mardi Gras event. I was exhausted from the trials and tribulations of the busy season at a public accounting firm. However, I agreed to join him on the adventure down to Cincinnati. Once we arrived, we participated in the festivities. At the end of the night, the DJ played atomic dog and the members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. proceeded with setting “OWT”. Naturally, I joined in and began to set it “OWT”. Once the music subsided, I heard a voice say “Did that hurt?” when she was referring to my brand on my left that I recently had got. Once I saw her beautiful smile, the only thought that went through my head was that I needed to get to know her. Little did I know that she would turn out to be the woman of my dreams.
The Proposal
At my 31st birthday dinner on the Cincinnati Riverfront, we were taking pics and he bent down and proposed. He gave me a promise ring on my 30th birthday and said he wanted to make good on that promise!
When did you know they were the one?
After about a month, his interest in me was so genuine. He’d say within a few weeks when he asked me to be his girlfriend.
