The bride…
How they met & the proposal…
“We met in 2015 in Springfield, MO. We were both in college at two different Missouri schools and had traveled that weekend for a party. My best friend introduced us and the rest was history. My 25th birthday we decided to travel to Miami. Corrian popped the question on the beach. I had no idea.”
Wedding inspiration…
“The inspiration behind our wedding was love! We wanted our guests to feel our love the moment they entered our venue. We filled our venue with red roses which symbolized our romance and love for one another.”

Wedding day looks…
“When we first got engaged, we knew almost immediately we wanted the groomsmen in white jackets. Corrian (the groom) wanted to wear black. So I (the bride) loved the idea of the bridesmaids wearing the opposite of the groomsmen, black. We always imagined the bridal party wearing black and white, so it worked out perfectly. I (the bride) never had a clear idea of how I wanted my dress to look. So that was a long struggle. However, once I found my dress, I knew it was the one. Corrian actually found his tux more than a year before our wedding. It all worked out perfectly.”
Romantic Décor…
“We wanted our space to be modern and intimate. The idea behind our decor stemmed from our want to showcase our relationship. We chose the colors red and gold to signify the strength and love of our relationship. Our ceremony space was filled with red uplighting and red roses that lined the aisles. During our reception, our wedding party and immediate family sat at gold serpentine tables and the rest of our guest sat at round tables draped in deep red cloths centered with gold candelabras. At the center of our reception we had a dance floor signed with our wedding logo.”
Florals…
“All florals for our wedding, excluding bouquets were red roses. The bridesmaids and the bride had white rose bouquets. While the men in our family all had red boutonniere.”
Personalized details…
“We both love food, so we thought it would be great to provide a late night snack to our guest which include St. Louis style treats to represent our home town. Our favorite part of the wedding was meeting each at the alter as well as dancing the night away that evening.”
Favorite wedding-day moment…
“The most anticipated moment of our wedding day were our vows. We were both so excited to express our love for one another.”
Advice for other engaged couples…
“If we had to offer advice it would be a few things. Take your time and plan. Choose the right vendors. Understand that this is a stressful time, but try to enjoy it as much as possible. Especially enjoy the day of your wedding, because it will be over so quick and you’ll want to relive that day over and over again.”
