This Moroccan-inspired styled shoot at the Perry Belmont House in DC combines two cultures and aesthetics, creating a uniquely romantic, rich, and elegant look.
Inspired by Moroccan details and old-age European architecture, the vendor team knew the Perry Belmont House would be the perfect location to achieve their desired result. The bridal gown designed by Kosibah beautifully showcases both a conservative and fashion-forward look, which ties in both inspirational elements of the shoot.
Yemi is dedicated to making sure you feel amazing in your wedding attire. The gown we used was a sheer top with embellishments on the front, sides and even the cuffs. The skirt was a high-waist with a beautiful train.
Models and real-life couple, Marissa and Janiel, recently celebrated four years of marriage and were absolutely perfect for the shoot. Their chemistry and love for one another elevated the photos and were a joy to capture.
It was a great time for them to dress up as bride and groom again and think about their special day four years ago.
To further incorporate Moroccan culture, the vendor team included individual desserts, which are custom at Moroccan wedding celebrations.
Caitlin from The Artful Apron (seen on Netflix!) worked her magic and created these intricate personal cakes for guests as well as a multi-tier cake for the rest of the guests.
