While out with family and friends, Bree got the sweetest double surprise when what she thought was a celebration of her boyfriend’s birthday in Miami turned out to be a surprise proposal! His birthday celebration turned into their engagement party! Can you say the best day EVER!!

The couple’s golden hour Miami wedding captured by Kareem Virgo featured the coziest get-ready-with-me journey with Bree’s bridesmaids who had their own personalized slippers along with their own comfy PJ sets, and Ahmad’s groomsmen wore their own coordinating tuxedos by celebrity designer Miguel Wilson.

For their wedding day, the couple’s florist Petal Productions created a spectacular display of sumptuous roses with a dazzling floral ceiling installation that was a waterfall of colors which echoed throughout the whole ceremony. Our proposal story…

Ahmad & Breionne met in Atlanta through a mutual friend and maintained a friendship that would eventually grow into a special relationship. Ahmad proposed to Breionne in Miami, FL on a yacht in the middle of the ocean amongst close family & friends during what was HIS birthday celebration. Breionne was filled with shock and emotion as she read the words “Bree, Will You Marry Me” literally floating in the sky. It was a true dream.

When we knew…

When we became each other’s safe space and when every “next move” included each other and our future together. Once we truly recognized our power together as one.

Modern, Whimsical, Romantic, Fairytale.

Our style...

My ceremony gown was very much a fairytale “Cinderella gown” with a touch of sexy boasting a thigh-high split and a structured bustier top. My reception gown was sleek and simplistic but not plain. It fit each curve and accented the body so well. My wedding shoes were by far my favorite—the perfect touch of bling and class.

Celebrating our culture…

We actually had two wedding ceremonies; our traditional wedding on 5/7/22 and an intimate “Nikah” ceremony held at Masjid Al Ansar Miami on 5/8/22. We incorporated our family’s Nigerian heritage as well.

Making memories…

How could we ever choose???! But being surrounded by love and joy from our family and friends in the middle of the dance floor with money flying everywhere will go down in history (Haha!).
