Military couple ties the knot in a classy and timeless wedding at 1208 Washington Place in Columbia, South Carolina, with autumnal hues and historic charm.
Tiana and Hank Singleton’s love story begins with a mutual love of serving our country.
In the Summer of 2011, the pair were both participating in an annual military training camp. During their two weeks of training, they became friends, and eventually, a sweet romance blossomed between them!
Fast forward to Hank’s surprise proposal after Tiana’s birthday cruise in South Beach Miami, Florida, the couple said “I Do!” in a charming South Carolina wedding. Surrounded by their friends and family, the historic 1208 Washington Place venue set a timeless backdrop for their fall-themed wedding.
Jevettra Gardener of Avila Dawn Events seamlessly coordinated and designed every detail of their special day while photographer, Ariel Enid, captured their wedded bliss from start to finish. Wedding style, attire, & shopping experience…
Since our wedding was in October, we had a beautiful fall theme.
Our wedding attire was very elegant and upscale even though we had some hiccups with our attire, lol. Our groomsmen and the groom ordered custom suits from a vendor for our wedding day, but the vendor never delivered the suits or gave us our money back (We are still in the process of suing, shame on people)!
This was the most stressful and devastating situation we could have possibly gone through for the wedding. Because of this, we were unable to get the original suits, but we were able to find last-minute suits the day before the wedding.
The shopping experience was a very stressful situation, but everything came together beautifully!
