Featured in Issue 32, Evyn and Patrick exchanged vows in an elevated and classic wedding at the Peach Orchard Venue in Spring, Texas.
The couple, who first met through mutual friends in college, invited as many loved ones as possible to support them on their special day. Looking back on their journey to ”I do,” two of their most important family members, their moms, played a major role in their proposal story.
Patrick brought Evyn and their moms to his last Marine Corps Birthday Ball before leaving the service. Ahead of the ball, he told Evyn they’d go to a small get-together in another room. Evyn had no idea Patrick had purchased the entire suite just for them and coordinated decorations with her mother. With their moms beside them, Patrick proposed, and Evyn excitedly said yes!
On their wedding day, the couple embraced timeless styles with Patrick wearing a cream double-breasted jacket with a shawl lapel, black pants, and gold accents. Evyn slipped into an off-the-shoulder champagne, lace mermaid-style gown by Galia Lahav, that perfectly complimented their elegant white and soft pink florals.
Their best advice to other engaged couples planning their weddings is to “make it a priority to enjoy your day and take advantage of all the short moments you have with your future spouse – the day goes by quickly!”
