You may have seen Morin and Caron’s timeless spring engagement session photos last year on the blog; now, the couple is back and SO excited to share wedding photos from their fall nuptials at Meadow Wood in Randolph New Jersey!
The couple, who first met as undergraduates while attending the University of Delaware, were both studying in the political science and international relations department. They knew of each other then, but didn’t start dating until after college after they reconnected in Law school.
Once they fell in love, there was no going back. They both knew they’d found their person and Caron, ready to take that next step, surprised Morin by proposing at her birthday dinner in December of 2022 at Sei Less in New York City.
Morin recalls, “A group of our close friends were there. He stood up to make a speech to our guests which I had presumed was to thank them for attending, but it transitioned into him speaking on the impact our relationship has had on his life leading into the proposal.”
She said yes and so began their journey to “I do!”
Following their NYC engagement session, the couple officially tied the knot on October 28th, 2023, at the Meadow Wood in Randolph New Jersey. From start to finish, their wedding was a Muna Coterie affair!
Familiar Coterie wedding vendors included Linda McQueen Photography behind the lens, planning and design by Oh Niki Occasions, makeup by the Felicia Graham Beauty Team, videography by Luxor Wedding Films, and DJ and photo booth by Finer Touch Entertainment.
With a gorgeous blush color palette, luscious reception florals, and custom wedding attire by Esé Azénabor and Matopeda for the bride and Don Morphy for the groom, their wedding was everything they imagined and more!

Describe your wedding attire and wedding shopping experience.
I wore a custom 2-in-1 Esé Azénabor gown for the ceremony and the dinner part of our reception. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to meet and work with Esé during my first visit to her New York Madison Avenue store in February where I said yes to a two-in-one gown design featuring pearls, crystals, and beading. The addition of long sleeves to the off-the-shoulder style was a request I made to pay homage to my mom’s wedding gown which featured long lace sleeves.
My experience working with Esé and the ladies from her New York Madison location was incredibly special and memorable. Her team is truly passionate about what they do and is incredibly kind and professional.
For the ceremony, I wore the Esé gown with a detachable train that resembled clouds and a traditional blusher veil covering my face with the long gown sleeves attached. I removed the train and gown sleeves prior to entering the reception for our first dance to showcase the second way the dress can be worn without the train to reveal more crystal, beading, and pearls down the length of the gown and simply featuring the cap sleeves.
For my reception dress, I was equally fortunate to have the rare opportunity to meet and be measured in person by Matopeda while she was visiting NYC in February.
I had seen her dresses online and knew I wanted something designed by her. I described to Matopeda my vision for the wedding design and the colors the wedding party would be wearing and she came up with a gorgeous drawing on the spot of the green sequin dress she made for our reception.
Caron wore custom Don Morphy for both the Ceremony and Reception.
He selected a classic white jacket with black piping made in a modern quilted fabric to wear with a white dress shirt featuring monogram initial details on the cuffs. Caron opted for a deep green jacket for the reception to match my reception look not knowing what my dress looked like but simply that anything in the deep green color palette would be complementary. From his first visit to be measured and the final one to pick up his tux, shirt, and jacket, Caron received excellent service at the Don Morphy NYC location.

Reception details…
As the guests were being served dinner, Caron and I stepped away to change into our green reception looks. For the reception, I changed into the Matopeda emerald green gown. Caron changed into his second Don Morphy look, removing his white ceremony jacket with black piping for a custom deep green jacket.
Did you incorporate any culture into your wedding?
My mother and I are both members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and it was really special being able to stroll dance with my mom. My sorority sisters sang our national song leading into a traditional stroll dance.
What is your best memory from your wedding?
Our best memory from our wedding is seeing both our families come together from near and far to celebrate the special occasion. Both of us have family and friends near and dear who we do not get to see often due to the distance and our schedules so this was very special for us.
What is the best wedding advice you can give to engaged couples?
Enjoy one another and the engagement period as the time will pass quickly leading up to your wedding no matter how far out you plan. Take plenty of pictures so you can have memories to look back on of all the milestones leading up to the big day.
