Tracy and Richard’s wedding style took center stage at their polished emerald and white wedding at the Valley Regency in Clifton, New Jersey!
After being introduced through one of Tracy’s sorority sisters, the couple began a beautiful romance.
On Christmas day in 2022, Tracy and Richard went to church to celebrate the holiday. Tracy had no idea the surprise Richard had in store for her. Surrounded by love and community, Richard proposed in front of their entire congregation.
Tracy and Richard’s polished emerald and white wedding featured distinguished custom fashion, all-white florals with touches of greenery, simplistic decor, and a white and champagne gold floral cake.
Their wedding style took center stage. Tracy wore a perfectly tailored sweetheart Mikado mermaid gown with a tiered tight ruffled bottom with additional bling added to the neckline and straps. Richard wore a custom emerald tux which paired perfectly with Tracy’s gown and their polished color palette.
They were overjoyed to have their loved ones together to celebrate their union.
We were incredibly grateful to everyone who made our day special. Both of us were thrilled with the turnout of our guests. There wasn’t an empty seat in the house, and we partied from start to finish. Overall, it was an amazing day.

Richard surprised me on Christmas Day (12/25/2022) during our church service. He proposed to me in front of the whole congregation.
What was your wedding shopping experience like?
Richard initially had some difficulty finding the right vendor to design his suit, which made his shopping experience a little challenging. Thankfully, his colleagues referred him to Indochino, which turned out to be a game changer. As for me, I struggled to find shoes and accessories. I waited until the last minute for those items, but everything worked out in the end.
The ceremony at the Valley Regency in Clifton, New Jersey, was a beautiful testament to their love and faith. Tracy’s late mother, Mrs. Juanita Williams, had prayed for her to find the man of her dreams and live the life God planned for her…
Describe your wedding attire.
Tracy wore a strapless sweetheart Mikado mermaid gown with a tiered tight ruffled bottom. She added Askale bling straps, and Askale bling around the Sweetheart neckline, Including the Back (2 Pairs). Her veil was from Pantora Blanche (Sol Veil, Diamond White).
Richard wore a custom tux by Indochino, located at the Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ. He wore black patent, PHOENIX Plain Toe Tassel Slip-Ons by Stacy Adams and a Gold Tone, Michael Kors’ Bradshaw 42mm watch.
It was a beautiful ceremony filled with good food, music, and an overall ambiance of love. The couple was blessed to share their union with those in attendance…
Did you incorporate any culture into your wedding?
Yes, we incorporated the lighting of the unity candle and the broom jumping to commemorate unity and togetherness and pay homage to our ancestors and our lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
What is the best memory of your wedding?
We were incredibly grateful to everyone who made our day special. Both of us were thrilled with the turnout of our guests. There wasn’t an empty seat in the house, and we partied from start to finish. Overall, it was an amazing day.
What is the best advice you can give to engaged couples?
Once you’re engaged, the wedding could be any day after. It’s time to take action. Choose a date, start planning, and work together to create a beautiful and seamless event. Make decisions that truly reflect your unique relationship without outside influence.
