Bride, Amanda, had a romantic walk down a blooming tree-lined aisle to her groom, Chaz, at their white wedding in Atlanta, Georgia!
Amanda and Chaz’s love story started with a nervous DM from Chaz. On their first date, they went bowling, but being skeptical of Chaz’s motives, Amanda didn’t want to follow up their game with dinner.
Chaz was very… persistent, but not in an overwhelming way. In a way that made me understand that he wasn’t playing around.

With the help of his mother and Amanda’s mother, Chaz organized a brunch disguised as a celebration for Amanda’s birthday. Knowing she wanted a private proposal followed by celebrating with loved ones, Chaz ensured they’d have a moment alone during the brunch so he could ask her to be his bride. After she said yes, they rejoined their family and friends to celebrate the special moment.
Faith, family, and love were at the center of Amanda and Chaz’s white spring wedding. As Amanda walked down the enchanting tree-lined aisle to Chaz, their guests’ eyes welled at the romantic scene!

How did you meet?
A hesitant DM [from Chaz] became a six-year story of love, laughter, happiness, and growth with God.

What did you do on your first date?
For our first date, we went bowling at Midtown Bowl. We would’ve also had dinner following, but Amanda was still skeptical of me.

When did you know you found “the one”?
Amanda: Chaz was very… persistent, but not in an overwhelming way. In a way that made me understand that he wasn’t playing around. After learning that he also wanted to abstain until marriage, and constant prayer, and my family loving on him, I knew he was the one.
Chaz: Amanda and I would typically have hour-long conversations in her parents’ driveway when I would take her home after our dates. This particular evening we were talking about faith and being zealous for Christ, and when I looked at her she was so stunning in that moment. I never looked at her the same. That’s when I knew.

Tell us about the proposal.
For Amanda’s birthday, her mom, my mom, and I collaborated to throw her a brunch she thought was for her birthday, but was for me to propose. She wanted to be proposed to privately, and then able to celebrate with loved ones afterward. I think I executed it pretty well.
