Colorful Styled Shoot Reminiscent of the Spring by Amber Gress Photography

Although it’s starting to feel like winter over here in Jersey, this shoot takes us right back to spring.  Vibrant pops of color and a rustic backdrop…we adore everything about this shoot.  The photographer, Amber Gress, “wanted to incorporate the concept of an after party.”  So the Wythe hotel in Brooklyn was the perfect location.  Get ready for prettiness overload!  Here’s what Amber had to say…

“We wanted the bright bold feeling that comes with spring to come through with all the little pops of color throughout this shoot, including the fabulous turquoise shoes from Chromatic Gallerie, that couldn’t look any cuter on the models gorgeous skin! The stationery designed by the fabulous Katie Fischer of Katie Fischer Design, was a huge jumping off point for us. Her style is really fluid and beautiful, which really helped set the tone for the look we were going for. We love bright and fun elements that are a little bit loose around the edges as a way to steer away from the party feeling too coiffed. We wanted this to be about having a truly joyous celebration for couples that want to have fun on their big day, while still being able to maintain their own sense of style.

We also wanted to to incorporate the concept of an after party, held in the amazing secret location available for private parties in the basement of the Wythe Hotel. We had Rent Patina outfit the room with their gorgeous and most colorful pieces to create a cool lounge scene, where the Bride and Groom could invite their guests to continue the party with a little bohemian flair. We also curated an all locally produced NY bar, which was a great way to highlight the location.”
