Planning a wedding can be stressful, especially when your wedding is only four months away and you still do not have a dress. For some women finding a dress can take weeks, even months, but for Funlola she only needed 20 minutes. With a wedding four months away and a hectic schedule, it was close to impossible to spend countless hours creating a dream wedding. Although they did not have a theme, Funlola knew she wanted an elegant and graceful wedding that also incorporated their Nigerian culture. Luckily, the couple had an amazing team more than willing to help. With their wedding planner, Madebeautiful Events and a host of siblings she and her husband, Kayode were able to bring together a wedding they will always remember. Thanks to Still Life Media for these gorgeous photos.

Wedding Style
I always knew I wanted a lace dress and so when I went dress shopping, I was focused on finding that one lace dress. With my work schedule, I was only able to go dress shopping late in the process and went only twice…once with my twin and the other during my lunch break at work. I tried on a dress, made up my mind quite quickly (in 20 minutes), and purchased my dress. For my veil, I knew I wanted a cathedral length veil with lace trimming on the edges. With my dress and veil purchased, I worked on what accessories worked best and kept it simple.
What was the most memorable part of the wedding day?
I have many memorable moments from the wedding, but the one most memorable part of the wedding was our first dance, because I was super nervous and Kayode got me through it by being funny. Also having our families together in one place was great for me as well.
Tell us one thing he loves most about you…
One of the things I love most about my wife is she is extremely goofy and quirky. She is also very caring and loving and makes sure that I am always a priority.
Tell us one thing you love most about him…
I have a lot, but the one thing I love most about Kayode is that he is supportive and does his best to make sure I am happy. He also works super hard on things he is passionate about.
