Right about know you might be munching on your favorite 4th of July grub or just kicking it with your closest family and friends in the backyard. Whatever you may be doing to celebrate Independence Day, this post will give you a little inspiration to do it in style! Produced by Maria Grace Photography, the shoot highlights the diversity of America along with some American classics, including bottled Coke, macaroni and cheese and corn on the cob.
From the photographer:
“As Independence Day and all of its subsequent celebrations draw nearer, we took time to celebrate one of the things that makes America great. The diversity of cultures, backgrounds, and ethnicities makes our country truly unique. The United States is a nation made up of people from all countries and all walks of life.Set at the beautiful and historic Bayvue Estate, our Home is Where the Heart Is shoot celebrates the diversity we enjoy on a daily basis, in light of the 4th of July. Our couple sat down with their growing family and some of their friends to a homestyle dinner with all of the favorites – fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, classic Coke bottles, and corn on the cob, to name a few. The different cultures represented at the table show the melting pot that America has become. The maroon and navy color scheme contributed to the idea of a patriotism that we have made our own through the years. The red, white, and blue is about everyone living in harmony together in a country that is and should be open to all. This is America. This is the land of the free and the home of the brave.”
