As a kid, I spent a lot of time with my grandmother. Her home was filled with lace doilies, cameo brooches, lemon gumdrops, and lots of love! I was so in awe of the cameo brooches (I still have one today), but I vividly remember loving and hating her lace doilies all at the same time. I loved the fragility and softness of the lace but kind of hated that they were on every table in the house!
Today, as I have fond memories of my grandmother, I absolutely love lace and often catch myself laughing for not fully understanding the beauty of lace. Being a girlie girl and fully submerged in the wedding industry have really opened my eyes to the beauty of this delicate fabric. Today, I’ve brought a little bit of the old back with this vintage peach and lace wedding inspiration. Happy planning!

All this peachy, lacy goodness makes me smile! My grandma was also a member of the “decorate every surface with a doily” school of design…brings back such fond memories!
That paisley tablecloth and those cookies are giving me serious life right now. :)
