When Deidra in Texas and Jerry in Richmond, Virginia met on Christian Mingle, the two were quickly taken by the Christ in each other though distance made this a friendship in the beginning, which the two were completely content with. Over time, Facebook likes turned into a Happy New Year message from Deidra which led to more conversation from Jerry and soon enough, an eight hour straight phone call. Jerry made his way to Texas, a visit that solidified the two more than either would have ever imagined. The God fearing couple married on Valentine’s Day in an art gallery to represent being made in God’s image and acknowledge that marriage is a “picture” of the greatest love story ever told.
