Joy and serenity surrounded Chanel as she prepared to marry the love of her life. Her blushing bridesmaids smiled generously as they helped her slip into her elegant lace gown with long sleeves and trumpet style train. Her pearl necklace and bracelet were the perfect accessories for the traditional gown and the ultimate homage to her Alpha Kappa Alpha sisterhood. Chanel was marrying Brent at the Hilton Houston North and the day couldn’t be any more perfect.
Pink and ivory accents could be seen throughout the reception space. Sequined table coverings added glamour to the room. Soft pink and ivory roses paired with white hydrangeas filled the tall glass centerpieces. Homemade teacake cookies packaged with the gracious words “how sweet of you to come” were given to guests upon entry. A Second Line band had the reception rocking as the bride and groom held their custom umbrellas up in celebration. Guests joined in on the fun waving embroidered white napkins in the air Louisiana style. Chanel and Brent’s big day was both fun and fabulous.
