Tell us your proposal story.
Kunle proposed to me over lunch at the seashore in New England, CT. He actually put the ring in my desert. I almost choked to death because I’m such a foodie. I was enjoying the red velvet cake wayyyy too much! Well by the time I bit down on it he was intensely staring at me waiting for me to discover it. I spit it out thinking the chef made a mistake with the food and it dropped on the table and his eyes lit up. I asked him are you serious! Do you wanna kill me? He laughed and asked will you do me a favor? I replied what. He asked, “ Will you marry me?” I was slow in my response because we hadn’t dated very long. I laughed and replied yes. He put the ring on my finger and that was it! After 6 months we went for an upgraded ring of my choice. I still have my previous ring.
Describe your engagement session.
The theme I went for was a Garden styled theme or a pillar-like theme which I found at Lincoln Memorial in D.C. I went to Lincoln Memorial with friends and I knew that’s where I would want my shoot done.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple?
Our favorite thing to do as a couple is watching action movies on Netflix every chance we get and going on vacations!
